Who the T73W is for
Desks that make and take calls without juggling many lines: a treatment room, a back office, a warehouse counter, a second desk added to a room that was never wired. The 8 programmable buttons cover the colleagues you transfer to most, Wi-Fi gets it online anywhere in the suite, and Bluetooth takes a wireless headset without an adapter. A receptionist or a manager who watches ten lines at once is better served by the T74W or T85W.
Yealink T73W quick guide
The steps people look up most, in plain words. Menu names match the T73W's own screen.
How to power a Yealink T73W (PoE or power supply)
- Plug the network cable from a PoE switch into the Internet port on the back; the phone powers up with no adapter.
- No PoE in the office, or running on Wi-Fi? Use the 5 V Yealink power adapter in the DC5V socket.
- Wait for the Netexem logo and the home screen; the phone downloads its settings on its own the first time it is online.
Netexem supplies the power adapter for $5 when a desk needs one; most offices with a PoE switch never do.
How to connect a Yealink T73W to Wi-Fi
- Go to Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi.
- Set Wi-Fi to On and select Save, then wait for the list of networks.
- Pick your network, select Connect, type the password and select OK. The Wi-Fi icon shows in the status bar once it is connected.
The phone remembers the network, so it reconnects by itself after a power cut.
How to pair a Bluetooth headset with a Yealink T73W
- Put the headset in pairing mode.
- Go to Menu > Basic > Bluetooth, turn Bluetooth On and select Scan.
- Pick the headset and select Connect. The Bluetooth icon appears at the top of the screen.
How to factory reset a Yealink T73W
- With the phone idle, press and hold the OK key until it asks whether to reset to factory settings, then confirm.
- From the menu instead: Menu > Advanced (default password admin) > Reset Config > Reset to Factory Settings.
- Keep the phone powered until it has restarted completely.
Note: On Netexem service the phone re-downloads its settings automatically after a reset, so your extension, keys and voicemail come back on their own. Call 714.444.0550 first; most problems are fixed remotely.
Voicemail, call forwarding, hold, conference calls and intercom work the same on every Netexem phone; see the Netexem phone system user guide.
The full Yealink manual covers every feature; the T73W datasheet lists the specifications. Netexem customers can simply call 714.444.0550 and we walk you through it.

What is the difference between the Yealink T73W and T74W?
Screen and keys. The T73W has a 2.8-inch screen and 8 programmable buttons; the T74W has a 4.3-inch screen and 10 programmable buttons. Both have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit PoE and a USB port, and run the same software.

Does the Yealink T73W have a quick start guide?
Yes, Yealink's quick start guide is in the box and the datasheet is linked on this page. On Netexem service you rarely need either: a technician installs the phone, or it sets itself up when you plug it in and we guide you by phone or screen share.
Who installs the Yealink T73W?
A Netexem technician from our Tustin office installs it on site anywhere in Orange County and Southern California and trains your staff on install day. If you install yourself, we ship the phones to your office anywhere in the US and send a step-by-step setup sheet.
