It gives a reception desk the big touchscreen of the T87W for $50 less by leaving Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to optional USB dongles. Below are the specs, the desks it suits, the steps people look up most, and the comparison with the T87W, T85W and T74W.

Who the T77U is for
A front desk or office manager on a cabled desk who wants every colleague's name on screen and a transfer that takes one tap. Offices with a PoE switch and a network port at every desk get the full touchscreen experience without paying for wireless they will not use. If the desk has no cable, or staff want a Bluetooth headset without a dongle, the T87W is the better buy.
Yealink T77U quick guide
The steps people look up most, in plain words. Menu names match the T77U's own screen.
How to factory reset a Yealink T77U
- With the phone idle, press and hold the Redial key until the phone asks whether to reset to factory settings, then confirm.
- From the menu instead: Menu > Advanced (default password admin) > Reset Config > Reset to Factory Settings.
- Leave the phone powered on until it has restarted completely; it can take a few minutes.
Note: A Netexem T77U sets itself up again after a reset: once it is back on the network it downloads its settings and returns with your extension, keys and voicemail. Call 714.444.0550 first; most problems are fixed remotely.
How to connect a Yealink T77U to Wi-Fi
- Plug the Yealink WF50 Wi-Fi dongle into a USB port on the back of the phone.
- Tap Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi On and tap Save; the phone lists the networks in range.
- Tap your network, tap Connect, type the password and tap OK.
The T77U is built for a wired desk; the dongle is for the odd desk with no cable. Ask us to include the WF50 when you order, and remember a Wi-Fi phone needs the $5 power adapter.
How to pair a Bluetooth headset with a Yealink T77U
- Plug the Yealink BT41 Bluetooth dongle into a USB port on the back of the phone and put the headset in pairing mode.
- Tap Menu > Basic > Bluetooth, turn Bluetooth On and tap Scan.
- Tap the headset to connect it. The Bluetooth icon appears at the top of the screen.
A wired USB headset needs no dongle: plug it into either USB port.
How to add an expansion module to a Yealink T77U
- Connect the key module to the port on the side of the phone with the supplied cable and clip it to the phone's stand.
- Netexem programs the module's keys with your colleagues' names over the network; nothing to type on the phone.
- Add a second or third module the same way when the team grows.
Voicemail, call forwarding, hold, conference calls and intercom work the same on every Netexem phone; see the Netexem phone system user guide.
The full Yealink manual covers every feature; the T77U datasheet lists the specifications. Netexem customers can simply call 714.444.0550 and we walk you through it.
